10. Hundreds Of New Yorkers - Ghostbusters 2

In the not-quite-classic sequel to the classic comedy, the Ghostbusters team manage to overcome astonishing ignorance (nobody believes in ghosts despite the gigantic Marshmallow Man attack barely a couple of year ago) and a new, all-powerful threat, yet again intent on making it with Dana.

They triumph in the face of extreme adversity, thanks to the Statue Of Liberty, and apparently everyone lives happily ever after in a ghost free New York.

But Wait...

In their haste to take on Vigo - because he's the big bad and Dana's baby is more important than all of the rest of New York's citizens for some reason - the Ghostbusters neglect to even remotely deal with a far more significant and immediate threat.

Along with the cool shot of the Titanic arriving (because boats can be ghosts too, shut up), there's a very brief shot of the giant Slimer type monster that seems very much intent on killing, maiming and destroying. The Ghostbusters literally pay no attention to this fact, and even if they go back and deal with it after Vigo it's probably already had its fill of tasty New Yorkers.
