10 More Movies So Awful They Were Pulled From Cinemas

While period pieces, especially period pieces about the Royal family, usually do fairly well both in Britain and overseas, 2013's Diana was doomed from the start.

Although critics admittedly noted just how hard Naoimi Watts was trying to make the film work as the titular princess, the release quickly became one of the most derided of the year, with just about every outlet ready to pounce on not only how terribly handled the material itself was, but how poor the film was regardless of how it approached its main subject.

Consequently, the movie never made it past being shown in more than 100 theatres at a time, with the distribution keeping it in circulation just long enough to recoup costs, playing in just 26 cinemas during it's third and final week, before being pulled altogether after that.
