10 More Movies So Awful They Were Pulled From Cinemas
5. Gigli

One of the biggest cinematic failures of the 2000s and the movie which almost single-handedly killed Ben Affleck's career, Gigli ensured that everyone involved would remain a laughing stock in the industry for years following its release. It was so bad that it resulted in director Martin Brest hanging up his hat completely, retiring from behind-the-camera work due to the overwhelming hatred the film garnered.
Despite its only crime really being that it was a pretty terrible romantic comedy that took itself way, way too seriously, the flick took a beating in the press, and still has a reputation for being one of the worst movies ever made.
Thanks to an immediate response which essentially turned the picture into a meme before memes even existed, alongside a huge 81% decline from first week box-office numbers to the second, the studio slashed its availability from over 2,000 theatres to 73 in its third week of release, pulling the film entirely after that final weekend.
