1. Wayne's World/Terminator 2

Sometimes, funny cameos can end up being the most memorable part of a movie.

In one scene from Wayne's World, Mike Myers' rocker lead is speeding through town, only to be pulled over by a motorcycle cop, who takes his time removing helmet and glasses before bending into the window and demanding to know if Wayne has "seen this boy".

The cop is the T1000 from Terminator 2 (played by Robert Patrick), holding a polaroid of John Connors, prompting Wayne to scream comically. Patrick explained to Loaded how it came about:

“Lorne Michaels [the film’s director] saw Terminator 2 and they were making Wayne’s World and they had a part in Wayne’s World where he was going to get pulled over by a police officer and Lorne decided he was going to get this Terminator character to do the cameo.“Apparently Mike Myers said ‘nah I don’t think it’s a good idea.’ But Lorne Michaels convinced him it was. I remember going to the Chinese Theatre to watch Wayne’s World and my cameo got the biggest laugh, which was very gratifying.”
