4. Sweeping Nothing - Quantum Of Solace

What could be simpler than sweeping the floor in the background, and receiving a wage packet at the end of a reasonably easy day's work? It's hardly the most complex acting gig you could get, no matter how low your level of experience.

But even that seems comically beyond this Extra from disappointing James Bond sequel Quantum Of Solace, who for some reason decides to mime sweeping, rather than just getting on with some actual sweeping. Perhaps offending the floor was too much for his tender sensibilities, or perhaps there simply wasn't the budget for the audio team to deal with the huge, invasive sound of bristles on concrete?

Whatever the explanation, the result is the sight of what appears to be a mentally unstable man brushing the air. Because of this man, there is probably now someone with the official job title Broom Wrangler, or Sweeping Tutor on call for every major Hollywood production requiring a little bit of background cleaning.
