Portrayed By: Mason Gamble John Hughes wrote the script for the big-screen version of the Hank Ketchams comic strip and TV show. Now, I understand the entire point of the Dennis character is to be well, a menace which includes being annoying at times. Well, in this writers opinion the filmmakers did a stupendous job at finding an extremely obnoxious kid.
Why Hes So Annoying: As Ive said before, the entire point of Dennis The Menace is to make him as annoying as possible and thats exactly what they accomplished. From his high pitched voice to his questionable actions. This is a blueprint on how to turn an innocuous comic strip into an intolerable movie.
