10 Most Brutal Deaths In James Bond Films
1. Milton Krest - Licence to Kill
A death so brutal that it was slightly cut from many subsequent releases of the film, only being reinstated over fifteen years later.
To maintain his cover, Bond had to make sure that Krest was killed and he did this by playing on Sanchez' paranoia. He convinced Sanchez that Krest had betrayed him and stolen a lot of money. In truth Bond had the money and decided to plant it on Krest's boat so that Samchez would find evidence of betrayal.
Sanchez locks Krest in the boat's airlock and turns up the pressure, causing his head to explode, splattering blood everywhere.
It's no surprise that this is the only Bond film with a BBFC rating as high as 15, it's just grim. Krest was a horrible character but I don't think anybody deserves to go in such an unpleasant way. And it's made all the worse by the fact that Sanchez just doesn't care and is more concerned about getting Krest's blood out of his money.
Naturally a franchise of twenty-three (and counting) action films contain many more brutal deaths. Have I missed any of significance?
