10 Most Cringe-Worthy Moments From Batman Films

1. The Bat Credit Card - Batman and Robin

As Batman and Robin are both hopped up on Posion Ivy's love potion and end up bidding for her, a war ensues, with Robin somehow promising to pay $6 million, before Batman tops it with $7 million, while whipping out his...Bat...credit...card, which Schumacher makes sure to zoom in on, so we can see that its expiry date is "Forever", and the Mastercard logo has been mocked up to read "Gothcard". Bats then says "Never leave the cave without it", as if things couldn't be bad enough. This scene is largely credited with completely sinking Batman's credibility, and as such Christopher Nolan had to come along and fix it all. Still, given what we got from that trilogy - the above cringes aside - it was probably worth suffering through Joel Schumacher's abominable film in the long run.
