8. Little Annie - Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

This was the great hero and the fallen Jedi Knight who was saved by Luke in Return of the Jedi. The tension was so high, and then we were presented with the below line. Now this is podracing!" It is like a knife to your skull. Or this "I will come back and free you, Mom. I promise. These awfully-acted lines were meant to establish Anakin as a relatable human character that we can empathise with throughout the prequels. However, it is still plainly annoying. The presentation of Anakin in this way makes you hate the main protagonist.
