Movies. We love them and we especially love when the movies which touched us the most (not in a bad way) reap awards. In fact, the only thing we love more than the movies themselves is arguing and fighting over which movies are the most deserving of their respective status. The Oscars are always a hotbed of contention amongst movie lovers and I can't even begin to tell you how many times the Academy seems to "get it wrong." What I'm doing here is giving you ten movies that are the MOST deserving of their best picture statuettes. I've searched for the movies that left little doubt as to what exactly was the best picture in their respective year. There may be some notable omissions from this list but if you do the research you'll find that maybe some of your favorites had some stiff and arguable competition. That's the key to this list, I'm looking for domination. This list, of course, is MY list and is most definitely up for debate...even though I'm right.
