10 Most Disappointing Endings In Movie History

The Twilight films deserve better. They’re really not as terrible or soulless as you remember, and yeah, they’re not for everyone, but give them a chance and you might end up enjoying yourself. Watch out for the time when sparkles appear around Bella’s head when she’s in bed with Edward. Yeah, that really happens.

But it’s the final two films in the Twilight saga that let the series down. Breaking Dawn Part 1 was a plodding, dull movie at best, because most of the action and really impactful drama was saved for Part 2. And while Part 2 certainly does deliver on the action in a truly epic fight scene, where multiple main characters end up dead in a huge departure from the books… Until it was revealed it was all a dream.

Well, it was all a vision provided by Alice, whose vampire powers allow her to see the future. It's impossible not to groan at this twist, the oldest trick in the book... And after what seemed to be some really bold decisions that excited all of the fans, it's all undone in the blink of an eye, and the rest of the film loses all sense of tension. Nobody is under threat, and thus nobody is interested any more. What a letdown.
