10 Most Disappointing Horror Movies Of 2015 - Ranked

3. Maggie

Back in the 90s, Arnold Schwarzenegger was being mooted as a possible lead in the long-gestating remake of I Am Legend, and if he€™d done the movie instead of End Of Days, then he would€™ve been taking on zombies with machine guns, a very different approach from the version that eventually starred Will Smith. Jump forward a few years and Arnie€™s finally done a zombie film €“ without a machine gun in sight. This turns out to be a bad idea, because if ever a movie needed endless sequences of the Austrian Oak mowing down hordes of flesh-eaters with a gun in each fist, it€™s Maggie. Dreary enough to be an episode of Fear The Walking Dead, the movie consists of Arnie moping about while his daughter (Abigail Breslin) slowly succumbs to infection after being bitten. People talk endlessly, but dialogue and character are only just a rung above soap opera level, so it's difficult to care about their plight. Next time, Arnie, bring The Expendables.
