10. Men In Black II
The original Men In Black was a splendid film which also had an awesome song to accompany it. The sequel falls massively short on both of these fronts but seeing as this is a film article we shall not look into why Black Suits Comin' is a dire piece of tat, but instead focus our attention on Men In Black 2. It still had Will Smith, it still had Tommy Lee-Jones and it still had lots of aliens but it was just nowhere near as fun or as clever. The plot was almost a mirror image of the first film with J having to introduce K to the MIB's after he had returned to his normal life after being neuralyzed, much of the film had J teaming up with not at all loveable pug dog Frank, who just wasn't as funny as the writers thought he was. Lara Flynn-Boyle was also a pretty weak villain and Jonny Knoxville was annoying. I tried to neuralyze myself after watching this by shining a laser pointer in my eye but only succeeded in giving myself a headache. Still enjoyed that more than this film though.
