10 Most Embarrassing DVD Commentaries Ever

7. Ben Affleck Relentlessly Mocks The Film - Armageddon

The DVD commentary for Michael Bay's Armageddon is infamous because a good portion of it is devoted to star Ben Affleck ceaselessly, hilariously ripping the movie to shreds.

Despite featuring Affleck alongside Bay, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and co-star Bruce Willis, all four parts were recorded separately and spliced together, effectively allowing Affleck to let loose on the film consequence-free.

This results in the track fleeting between Affleck's sardonic put-downs and the more generous observations of Bay and Bruckheimer in particular.

Most notably, Affleck recalls how he mentioned the film's central plot hole - that it'd be more efficient to train astronauts to become drillers than the other way around - to Bay, who promptly told him to "shut the f**k up."

He also suggests that Bay is so adept at making films aimed at youngsters because he has the mind of one, and basically demonstrates he doesn't take the movie one bit seriously.

Hearing this juxtaposed against the more earnest musings of the other participants is as awkward as it is entertaining.
