1. Gollum

That preciousss face says it all! Originally known as Sméagol, the name Gollum came about from his weird swallowing noises...lovely... I'm not going to deny that everything about Gollum (Andy Serkis) as a CGI character creeps me out. This proves that credit is due to the use of CGI, as the result successfully triggered discomfort from his realistic portrayal. Nonetheless, the freakish fiend lives on after featuring in The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy (2001-2003). Gollum now features in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which is due for release soon on December 13th 2012. So book your tickets now if you haven't already done so!
