10 Most Enduring CGI Characters Of All Time

9. Bumblebee

Their War. Our World. Despite the likes of Optimus Prime being the leader of the Autobots in the Transformers film series (based on the popular toy-line introduces in the 1980's), Bumblebee (who is small and yellow like a bumblebee with the altmode of Sam Witwicky's car) is the Autobot who displays the most emotional interaction in the films. Although Bumblebee can only communicate via his car radio, his mechanical flaws make him even more adorable to watch. He often seems to be more like a pet dog to Sam than act in the same vein of his seriously strong robotic race. Either way Bumblebee is the pet car everyone wants. Unfortunately the Transformers film series has drastically gone downhill since 2007 due to its sequels, especially Transformers: Dark Of The Moon (2011), receiving negative reviews. We will have to see if confirmed sequel, directed by Michael Bay and Marc Wahlberg as the protagonist, will restore the faith of fans in 2014. I wonder what will become of Bumblebee...?

As a one-of-a-kind twenty-something film fanatic and culture vulture... I have a 1st Class Honours degree in English Literature with Film Studies & Media Cultures. Along with recently completing MA by Research in Film Studies, I aspire to be a film critic and yearn for the opportunity to roll around on the red carpet (with or without Christian Bale in his Batsuit). Always openly embracing films of all genres and nations, although anything Studio Ghibli related will always have a place in my heart. Believes normality is overrated!
