10 Most Expensive Movies With 0% On Rotten Tomatoes
7. Redline - $26 Million
Not to be confused with the 2009 Japanese film of the same name (which has a much healthier 70% on Rotten Tomatoes), Redline from 2007 borrows its name from the working title of The Fast and the Furious.
To be honest, it basically borrows the plot of those movies too, but with less Vin Diesel for star appeal.
Nadia Bjorlin, who has been credited in a total of seven films since 2002, plays a skilled auto mechanic named Natasha. She's also a talented musician and a street racer. Look at that CV!
Oh, and she was also engaged to the director, Daniel Sadek, at the time? Who wanted an excuse to show off his girlfriend and his expensive car collection in one go? Interesting...
Natasha gets embroiled in a world of underground racing, crime and... look, as we said, it's The Fast and the Furious. Let's not waste time writing the whole plot down.
Reviewers saw right through this cheap imitation and were quick to lambast Redline for its bad acting and paper-thin plot. Sadek got his comeuppance though - he borrowed heavily to fund this film and declared himself bankrupt after it flopped.
That'll teach you mess with Vin's family.
