6. Rambo III Buzkashi
This sequence certainly earns bonus points for boasting the sport least commonly seen in western cinema. Too bad it sees everyones favourite all-American 80s action hero becoming best buddies with the Mujahideen, who are presented as noble freedom fighters. Yes, it's another of those things from the 80s which must have seemed like a good idea at the time. Anyway, just in case were not all familiar with buzkashi (ahem), its the national sport of Afghanistan, and basically sees men on horseback trying to score a goal, with a goat carcass rather than a ball. Rambo gets to give it a go whilst teamed up with Afghan resistance battling the Soviets. The scene leads directly into a large scale battle sequence, so in a sense its key to the flow of the movie, but lets not kid ourselves its mainly there so we can see Stallone looking badass on a horse.
