10 Most Iconic Images In Film History

04. Robert De Niro - TAXI DRIVER (1976)

It's a classic scene that will undoubtedly feature on a great number of top ten cinematic moments, but the still image of Robert De Niro's "You talkin' to me?" moment is equally notorious. The still image contains all the strong, intimidating and powerful elements that are in abundance within the film scene and De Niro's intense facial expression is insanely intimidating even in this form of media. Martin Scorcese's gritty and realistic tone that runs throughout the film is also evident in the image, making it an expressive photo not only for it's striking content. Whilst Taxi Driver will undoubtedly remain a cult classic for many years, this still could potentially remain firmly in the public conscious even if the film is not as widely known. Another image that can immediately be associated with the film it's from, viewers don't have to have even seen the scene on screen to know exactly what the photo depicts!
