10 Most Insane Demands That Famous Actors Made For Movies

4. Bruce Willis Demands $1 Million For Each Day Of Shooting - The Expendables 3

Lionsgate

Yeah, so, Bruce Willis isn't going to be in The Expendables 3, and there's a good reason for that: he asked the studio for a whopping $4 million dollars for 4 days of shooting - yeah, that's a rate of $1 million dollars a day, people. When they offered him $3 million, Bruce decided he could make some other sequels somewhere else, and refused to participate in Sylvester Stallone's third action hero mash-up.

Think about that for a second, though: $1 million for a day's work. Nutty, right? Now don't get me wrong: Willis is a highly bankable star, but he makes so many movies nowadays (many of them rather naff), and he's hardly Leonardo DiCaprio, is he? Which is to say: even $3 million dollars for four days work seems a little high for Bruce Willis, especially when he was set to be part of such a huge ensemble and wasn't even the main character.

Ultimately, then, it's probably a good thing that Stallone and the studio didn't crumble to these insane demands. He made himself literally expendable.
