10 Most Insane Demands That Famous Actors Made For Movies

7. Uma Thurman Demands The Right To Buy Prop Wigs At 50% Off (If She Wants) - Eloise In Paris

Freestyle Releasing

For a number of not very interesting reasons, Eloise In Paris is a movie that still hasn't been completed, and - for all intents and purposes - probably never will be. Based on the children's book of the same name, the film was set to feature Kill Bill star Uma Thurman in the role of Eloise's Nanny.

Anyway, when throwing her contract together for the movie, Uma requested some fairly "normal" things. For instance, the right to stay in a better hotel than anyone else on set. But she also requested - rather bizarrely - the right to purchase any wigs created for her over the course of the movie production at the rate of 50% off their production cost. You know, if she felt like it. I mean, sure, I suppose it doesn't make sense to waste an Uma Thurman-shaped wig, but who specifies such a thing in their contract? Was Eloise In Paris set to be a highly wig-orientated movie? And why did she need the wigs at a 50% off? It's not like she gets paid $5 million per film.
