10 Most Insane Things That Ever Happened At Comic-Con

Getting into a panel to see any of these insane incidents is a near-impossible task in itself. Queues for the big names at Comic-Con stretch back to hundreds of people, with the soundest advice being to arrive a good few hours before your panel of choice is about to start to even be within a chance of being let in to, say, watch the first Batman V Superman clips.

It can make some fraught tensions between con-goers, but none was more extreme than the interaction between two attendees at the 2010 convention. At a panel where Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Seth Rogen would be discussing their then-upcoming sci-fi comedy Paul, there was a disagreement about seating arrangements that got a bit heated.

Heated to the point that one of those men stabbed the other in the eye with a pencil, a moment of bloody violence that saw the attacker booked for assault with a deadly weapon. His victim suffered only minor scratches, thankfully, but it's a sign of how intense Comic-Con has gotten that people get this het up about getting into panels.
