While Jackman's character is so blinded by his anger and own need forrevenge, Gylleenhaal plays Loki like someone who is solely focused on trying to piece the puzzle together before it's too late.

However, unlike Jackman, who seems like he's ready to explode at any minute, Gyllenhaal remains calm and collected for the most part, only showing true frustration when he's not given the support he needs to find the child.
