7. Revolving Forced Perspective Shot in Lord of the Rings : The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
Lord of the Rings is arguably one of the greatest adaptations of anything, ever. But shooting it caused more than one issue. Forget all the insane battles, the mythical races and outlandish settings for a minute. Shooting Lord of the Rings had one initial problem that had to be addressed immediately: Hobbits are supernaturally tiny actors arent. Why It Was Inventive: I know Elijah Wood is a short-arse, but hes not that small. Jackson was forced to invent ways in which he could exploit the technique of forced perspective in order to make his characters appear to be the correct size.
