2. Hugo Drax - Moonraker
I sometimes think a pre-requisite for Bond villains is a severe case of megalomania, in which case Hugo Drax is the worst of them all. This ultra weirdo is on another mission to save the planet through its total destruction as long as a handful of "perfect" people survive to continue the human race. He plans on taking these people up into space while the rest of the world burns and house them in his paradise space station. In other words he sports the very essence of a God complex. Bond, played by the ever droll Roger Moore, cuts his ego down to size by first shooting him with a poison dart and then blowing him out of an airlock into the outer reaches of space. He's then ready to quip like always when Holly Goodhead (har) asks, "Where's Drax?" "Oh, he had to fly."
