For years, there was a nagging MCU plot hole generated as a result of the original Thor, where eagle-eyed fans noticed that an Infinity Gauntlet was contained within Odin's (Anthony Hopkins) vault, which was later contradicted by Thanos (Josh Brolin) revealing his own in Avengers: Age of Ultron's post-credits scene.

But this was finally rectified in hilariously tongue-in-cheek fashion in Thor: Ragnarok, when Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) half-sister Hela (Cate Blanchett) invades Asgard.

In one outrageous moment, she breaches Odin's vault and finds - would you believe it - the very same Infinity Gauntlet glimpsed in the original Thor movie.

She dismissively shouts "Fake!" before pushing it off its pedestal and insisting that most of the junk inside the vault is indeed also fake.

For fans who were left irked by that "mistake," this was a cute way to rectify it yet without drawing too much additional attention to the problem for those who weren't even aware.
