In what sounds like one of the coolest moments of Terminator Genisys, Byung-hun Lee's T-1000 will team up with a T-850 to chase down Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor. Whether or not it will have Schwarzenegger's face remains to be seen, but it would be better if it doesn't in some ways as the T-1000 fighting alongside just the T-850 exoskeleton would make for a far more interesting visual. Unfortunately, it sounds like the team-up will be short lived. Despite being featured in all of the trailers, the young T-800, the T-1000, and the T-850 all get taken out of the picture in the first half of the film in order for the spotlight to be focused on John Connor. That's fair enough in some ways, but it almost feels that they're only being included for the sake of fan service as a result. With rumours indicating that we'll spend time in 1973, 1984, 2017, and 2029, their lack of screentime is understandable.
