10 Most Outstanding Paddy Considine Performances
8. Stoned
Stephen Woolleys’s 2005 drama about the final days of Brian Jones is less rock star biopic, and more homage to trippy ‘60s cinema.
While the film itself doesn’t entirely hang together, there is a distinctively understated Considine role that gives the story much of its heart.
Considine imbues the character of Frank Thorogood – the builder tasked with keeping Jones on the straight and narrow and ultimately being implicated in his murder – with wounded vulnerability and barely-repressed resentment.
