10 Most Overrated Movies Of 2014 (So Far)

10. Million Dollar Arm

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 61% In 2014, is it really okay to make bland, saccharine movies that are so inoffensive it's almost insulting? Going by the majority of reviews for Disney's recent live action flick, Million Dollar Arm, starring Mad Man Jon Hamm as a sports agent who travels to India to find pitchers for his baseball team, it's fine: Million Dollar Arm is currently sitting pretty at an insanely high 61% percent, despite the fact that the movie is so horribly safe and mundane, it'll make you puke. Seriously: this movies plays like something Disney would have made in the '90s. The plot follows through in exactly the way you think it will at every single moment, never straying from utter banality. The question is... why didn't they make it a little bit edgier, like, say, Moneyball? In its current form, it's almost parody! 61% percent isn't the best score in the world, true, but it still denotes that Million Dollar Arm is "fresh," essentially recommending that people go see it. Don't.
