When all is said and done, no one, absolutely no one cares about the human characters in the MonsterVerse. Audiences come to these movies for one thing only, and that’s giant monsters fighting each other.

It seems only right then that King of the Monsters' Michal Dougherty, would want to officially recognise that the Titans are the real stars of the show. And what better way to do this, then by including them in the official credits. As audiences waited for the obligatory post-credits scene, they noticed that right at the end of the cast list, Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mothra and Rodan are all credited as playing themselves.

Shockingly, this is the only time this has ever happened in a big screen Godzilla production. So, either this is just a cool joke, or maybe the folks at Legendary have discovered actual proof of kaijus. Probably the former, but we can dream.
