8. Iron Man Armour: Mark XLV

Tony Stark's 45th Iron Man suit was built during Avengers: Age Of Ultron when his two prior suits suffered damage from Ultron and The Hulk. His latest iteration is kitted out with a new A.I. called F.R.I.D.A.Y. after J.A.R.V.I.S. was placed inside Vision, and was instrumental in successfully ending the Battle of Sokovia.

Any Iron Man suit is extremely powerful, but his latest is naturally the most robust of the regular-form suits, what with its laser helping to melt Ultron's Vibranium exterior, not to mention all the regular flourishes like flying, the ability to fire beams and missiles and so on.

Unlike most of the other Avengers, Iron Man is covered in one brilliant, immensely capable all-purpose weapon, and as such it's unsurprising that the various versions of this suit have more often than not been integral to saving the day (such as, in The Avengers, hurling a missile through a wormhole high in the sky).

He may not have the supernatural abilities of, say, Thor, but his sheer array of possibilities makes him not just extremely powerful, but also very unpredictable to the enemy. Whatever will he come up with next?
