9. Self-Propelled Heavy Artillery Turbolasers
During the Battle of Geonosis - which kicked off the game-changing Clone Wars at the end of Episode II - a number of Self-Propelled Heavy Artillery Turbolasers were dispatched as the Separatists attempted to flee the battlefield. However, those sudden evacuation plans soon met some Republic interference once a group of SPHA-Ts decided to intervene.
In a stunning show of firepower, the SPHA-Ts - controlled by 30 specialised clone troopers - managed to bring down an entire core Trade Federation ship with just a few laser blasts, creating a monumental dust wave once the titanic object crash-landed back onto the planet.
The SPHA-Ts, capable of casually marauding into battle thanks to their impressive articulated legs, would continue to be used by the Galactic Republic (holding the honour of being the largest ground-based weapons in their arsenal) throughout the Clone Wars, before ultimately going on to be used as mobile artillery for the Galactic Empire post-Order 66.
