10 Most Rewatchable Films Of 2017
9. Thor: Ragnarok
Thor: Ragnarok is insanely rewatchable for many of the same reasons as Baby Driver. Director Taika Waititi took the superhero concept and stuffed a rock opera in the heart of it, and the result was raucous fun that can be enjoyed again and again.
Ragnarok is one of those movies that makes you want to head back to the ticket desk and book in for the next showing right after you've experienced it for the first time. It's a cosmic joyride from one end of the Marvel Universe to the other, drenched in neon visuals and '80s-style synthesisers.
Waititi's humour shines through time and time again and many of the jokes hit home just as hard the second and third times around. When a lifeless Bruce Banner lands in Asgard with a thud, it's never anything less than hilarious.
The larger-than-life set pieces, from the Led Zeppelin-powered final battle, to the gladiatorial scrap between Thor and Hulk, are visceral experiences that never lose their shine, and the dynamic between the Avenger buddies sums them up like few MCU films have managed.
Marvel fans always relish the chance to revisit these characters, and with Ragnarok, they can experience them at their most fun-loving.
