10 Most Rewatchable Movies Of The Last 10 Years

6. IT

The most common criticism of contemporary Hollywood is its over-reliance on existing properties to make movies. It’s a fair point, but if these adaptations are as all around awesome as IT, then it's worth braving the barren desert of Hollywood creativity for a few seasons yet.

Taking more than a few cues from the similarly excellent Stranger Things, 2017’s IT is one of the most straight-up fun yet creepy horror movies of the decade. The heart of the film lies in the prodigious performances by The Loser’s Club and Bill Skarsgard as the eponymous monster. The movie masterfully walks the tightrope between John Hughes inspired, young adult charm and genuinely intense, bombastically enthusiastic horror set pieces. It’s just so much fun to watch. Creepy paintings coming to life, giant clowns almost eating kids, rotting corpses: it’s like the best 80s horror cheese ever, executed perfectly.

A guaranteed contender for the yearly halloween horror binge, IT is easily the most fun, and rewatchable, horror film of recent memory.
