What's It About? A man doomed to eat the flesh of human beings for all eternity decides to open up a beachside deli with questionable meat sourcing and a reputation for serving people who suddenly go missing. Does It Live Up To The Name? Well, first off, you have to give Gore-met credit for having perhaps the very best title pun in the wide world of 80s horror films featuring bad puns in their title. No doubt that clever name led to many a half-hearted VHS rentals in the movie's heyday. But wow, this is a truly awful movie. It's quite possible that you've never seen a film with such an awful premise and nonexistent budget take itself so seriously. Whoever it was that came up with that title mustn't stuck around for too long afterward, because there is no such joy or creativity found in the movie itself.
