In a galaxy (far, far away... come on I had to!) saturated with weird and wonderful aliens, creatures and planets, the Star Wars series has to have some of the most ridiculous characters in cinema. This article will gather together some of the characters that you may know well and some that may have passed you by. I will be looking into a whole host of characters from all six movies and maybe even the expanded universe. Some selections you may agree with, some you may not. Let's take a look...
10. Jabba The Hutt
Jabba The Hutt, or to give the beast his full name Jabba Desilijic Tiure is an intergalactic gangster, an intergalactic Al Capone if you will. Jabba is well known for his intergalactic piracy from his base on Tatooine, commanding cruelty and indulging his outright carnal desires,the dirty beast, but lets not forgot to thank him him for 'Slave Leia'! Placing a hefty bounty on the head of our galactic hero Han Solo, he was only rarely seen in the trilogy but his presence was felt throughout the films, becoming quite the iconic character.
Why ridiculous? I give you Jabba the Hutt at no.10 for his downright dirty, sleezy, worm like tendancies. His big bulging eyes scream dirty old man, how he gets about his daily business is anybodies guess, even his name sounds fat!
