1. Star Wars Meets Star Trek in the JJ Abrams/Walt Disney Combined Universe
If the idea of a Jar Jar Binks movie didn't leave you with immediate visions of fire bombs exploding, burning up the entire world as helicopters rain warped destruction to the sorrowful tune of, "This is the end... beautiful friend" then prepare for the worst. For the longest time Marvel has been dropping little vignette scenes after the ending credits of their movies to tie in all the plots of their universe for The Avengers to exist. Taking a cue from Avenger's box office, DC will be employing the same tactic in the upcoming Superman film Man of Steel in hopes for creating a Justice League film. Now Disney will try the same with Star Trek director, JJ Abrams. As problematic as it may sound (and it sounds terribly problematic) in the future either parties, most likely Star Trek, will find evidence of the other in that weird, anything-can-happen, final frontier called space. Who knows, maybe even the "force ghost" of Luke will appear to Captain Kirk to offer some sagely advice. In some way, the rumor is, the two great divisions of Sci-Fi love will meet in the upcoming films for both franchises. Why else would Disney hire the director of Star Wars' bitter rival to helm their films knowing what type of heat they would get? Star Wars/Star Trek purists, prepare to meet your doom.
