Speaking of beating up Thanos, there’s another particular beating which was enough to make anyone smile with satisfaction.

After being resurrected by the reverse snap, Scarlet Witch is understandably angry when she sees Thanos again, considering he murdered Vision right in front of her. In response, she proceeds to attack him, very fiercely. The most satisfying thing about this moment is that she very nearly defeats him, and only loses her grasp when Thanos gets his ship to rain fire on the battlefield.

Scarlet Witch is an immensely powerful member of the Avengers. Therefore they emphasise the fact that she's a younger Avenger with less combat experience so her immense powers can’t serve as a deus ex machina that allows them to win every fight. Instead of having her fully utilise her powers, she frequently makes mistakes, or is knocked out of battle. It was immensely satisfying to finally see her successfully unleash her inner beast on Thanos, and showcase the extent of her power. It was even more satisfying to watch him struggle against an opponent.
