10 Most Terrifying Horror Movie Villains You've Never Heard Of

10. Patti & Henry - BreadCrumbs (2011)

€œYou live in a house of candy. And houses like that need to burn to their foundation€€ Director Mike Nichols€™* reworking of - or sequel to? - the old Hansel & Gretel tale has a peculiar spin: the group of nubile young things heading out to a cabin in the woods aren€™t high school kids, but a pornography production, seeking a new and interesting location to film at. Right at the very beginning, they encounter two odd teenagers in the woods, Henry and Patti. As strange noises in the woods turn to violent attacks on the cast and crew, it becomes clear that one or both of the children are responsible. That€™s when the director makes the mistake of taking Patti hostage€ Henry (Dan Shaked) is the killer, a gaunt kid with an autistic affect and an axe, and Patti (the brilliant Amy Crowdis) is his sister, who as the film goes on is revealed not to be nearly as sweet and sensitive as she makes herself out to be. There€™s something in the way that Shaked stands, hanging his head to one side, his limbs dangling as though his strings have been cut, that€™s genuinely creepy - but despite the fact that he€™s responsible for the violence, it€™s Patti that brings the fear. She€™s the senior partner, the one with the street smarts, and Henry comes when she calls - or in this case, hums a sinister sing-song nursery tune. When she finally drops the little girl mask, Patti€™s demonic grin cracks her face like an open wound€ but she€™s not smiling when she berates her final victim. In true stalk n€™ slash style, it€™s the porn crew€™s gratuitous sexuality that€™s brought on the kids€™ murderous side: that€™s the candy house they live in, the bewitching trap that they entice people into. *No, not the acclaimed director of The Graduate and Closer. It€™s a common name.
