10 Most Unlikely Horror Movie Leads

8. Stephan Smith Collins - Hellraiser: Revelations

The Cenobites have existed for centuries, so the Hellraiser film franchise is relatively young, clocking in at just under thirty years to date. Creator Clive Barker is returning to oversee a reboot of the concept. The reason he's doing this may lie in the last recorded sighting of his iconic masochist, and every hatmaker's nightmare, Pinhead. Doug Bradley dominated the saga as the man who can't go through a metal detector, but rush job entry Revelations had to find another villain when the veteran declined the chance to get his hooks into the part. Filmed hurriedly for contractual reasons to prevent the rights lapsing from Dimension Films, the shoot welcomed Stephan Smith Collins, in his first and only appearance as Barker's imposing leather-wearer. It was a great opportunity for Smith, but producers should have realized the original star is irreplaceable. There's more to Pinhead than sitting in a make up chair for a few hours and the poor actor struggled to make an impression. Revelations could almost be a fan film tribute to the legacy! Guess who's being cast in the new chapter? Yep - Mr Bradley.
