10 Most Unnecessary Movie Deaths Ever

9. Jack Dawson - Titanic (1997)

titanic ending You have all seen this one and you all know the story. You may not know that James Cameron even appeared on Mythbuster€™s as they attempted to debunk the theory that Jack couldn€™t fit on the board with his beloved Rose and instead had to endure the horrendous fate of freezing to death. Cameron claimed that "It's not a question of room; it's a question of buoyancy." Yet after the Mythbuster guys shot this theory out the water, showing that it would have been 100% possible for Kate Winslet's Rose to budge her arse over a bit to help poor Leo out and save his life, Cameron backtracked by saying "I think you guys are missing the point here, the script says Jack dies. He has to die." Poor excuse Cameron, poor excuse. This is such an unnecessary fate for Jack and if he had to die for the purposes of plot, Cameron could have least made it a bit more convincing by maybe making the bit of wood that Rose lay on a shade smaller. You know, just small enough so he wouldn€™t have to go on Mythbusters to discuss a gigantic plot hole in your Oscar littered Magnum Opus.

Shaun does not enjoy writing about himself in the third person. The rest? I will tell you in another life, when we are both cats...
