10 Most Unnerving Shots In Horror Movies

3. The Birth - Men

Men centres around a widow, Harper Marlowe, who heads to a country estate shortly after losing her husband. During her stay, she notices something peculiar about the locals - they all look the same.

Furthermore, everyone in the village treats Harper with disrespect, disregard, or aggression. As they continue to harass Harper, these individuals start performing supernatural acts, such as teleportation and shapeshifting.

The climax takes things to a whole new level, with scenes of an attempted rape, a forearm being sliced in two, and a bird's neck being broken. As unpleasant as these sequences are, they are merely the appetiser for what's to come.

In the movie's final moments, one assailant gives birth to a boy in front of Harper. The child's tummy swells to immense size before the vicar crawls out of his bellybutton. The vicar then births Harper's landlord through his back, who then births Harper's deceased husband through his mouth.

As disturbing as this birthing cycle is, it's the visual of a heavily pregnant and naked boy, bloodied and screaming, that's sure to stick with viewers for a very long time.
