9. Bruce Campbell
Ever since he played Ash in Sam Raimi's immortal Evil Dead trilogy, he's been one of the most enjoyably loopy screen presences in horror-comedies, and even when he's attempted forays into other fare, he's always got the same manic, cheeky composure. Whether he's being ripped apart by a gorilla in Congo or playing a wrestling announcer, a snooty waiter, or quite literally himself, there's the same sense that Campbell might not have a lot of range, but he makes up for it with his seemingly inherent comic timing. A big part of the reason for him appearing this way is that Ash remains his most memorable and iconic role; it essentially got him most of his subsequent roles, and of course, his appearances in the Spider-Man films have essentially been an in-joke for Sam Raimi's loyal fanbase. Still, we're not going to complain; we don't really want to see Campbell paring it down and playing it stoic - we love how mental he is.
