10 Movie And TV Spoilers We Didn't Know Last Week (27th Aug)

4. Daredevil Won't Be Done After The Defenders

None of Marvel's Netflix shows has hit our screens yet, and they won't until 2015 at the earlliest, but it should come as no surprise to fans of the forward-thinking Marvel that the studio has a bigger plan for the characters of those shows, at the very least those featured in their Daredevil series. Currently, all we know is that Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist will all star in their own respective series before uniting in a Defenders miniseries, but Vincent D'Onofrio (playing the Kingpin in Daredevil) recently had some words to say about what comes after:

Well, I think they have some kind of plan. I'm not really allowed to discuss what the plan is, but they have a plan. I think the beginning of the plan is series stuff with Netflix, and then they have a bigger plan to branch out, but I wouldn't be able to tell you specifically what that is. (via Screen Crush)

So what does "a bigger plan" mean, exactly? Are Marvel talking about a new Daredevil movie (it has been over a decade since the last one, after all) or simply expanding their TV universe and cementing their hopefully fruitful partnership with Netflix? Only time will tell.
