The tweeted synopsis of Arrow Season 3 certainly seems to imply that Detective Lance is not only unharmed after the events of the finale but has also received a promotion to captain (about bloody time). In an interview Manu Bennett who plays Slade Wilson seemed to imply that Malcolm Merlyn would be returning as the seasons primary antagonist.
