2. Remy le Rat (and his ratty friends) - Ratatouille

Even once we are settled, it won€™t all be plain sailing. Crops will fail, rivers will burst their banks and people will get sick. There€™s no question about it, we€™re going to need some backup. I admit, at first thought an army of rats isn't the most appealing prospect. But think. It€™s a fact of life that rats can survive anything. It will be like having an underling army. Remy can, as we have seen, commandeer all the rats. On those bleak days where Katniss has only found the two-day-old corpse of a squirrel, and the crops are at their thickest, rootiest ends, we€™ll need someone to make the food edible. Even when the food is appetising anyway, they might as well cook it for us. Furthermore, we can make use of them in scavenging, scouting and cleaning up (a la Enchanted). In return, we won€™t eat them. Well, not unless things get really dire. It€™s the perfect partnership.
