10 Movie Characters We'd Share a Desert Island With

9. Indiana Jones €“ Indiana Jones Quadrilogy

Following the line of adventure, there€™s also the need for balance. Ed Blooms incessant tall tales will need to be tempered with an historian€™s sense of factuality. The nature of Ed Bloom€™s character will mean there€™s about as much chance of causing conflict as the UN has of stopping It. Add to this Indiana Jones€™ equal love of adventure and you€™ve got a recipe for success. This being a desert island, there€™s also the need for somebody a bit handy about the place. In the films we€™ve seen Indy trekking through jungles, the desert, and even braving the odd sewer, so having him around on the island would be so much more than childish hero worship. On top of Ed Bloom€™s penchant for whimsical adventure, Indy would lead you in with a plan. Probably with a plan which would involve a secret store of Nazi henchman kept on the desert island for you to blow up in a bloodless barrel-explosion too! What fun!

A. J. S. Scott was created as a homunculus by a mad English Alchemist who was trying to make rum from ink and seawater. He is still a fan of both and he has no comment on what happened to all the ‘No Exit’ signs in Islington Underground Station when he visited for Beltaine. You can send him missives by bribing the Right Raven with sour-strings, or: Instagram: @ajsscott Tumblr: andrew-scott-things.tumblr.com
