10 Movie Characters Who Ruined EVERYTHING
These characters screwed it ALL up.

While most movies have a clear villain who is responsible for the big ol' mess that the hero has to clean up, it's also fair to say that sometimes there's a non-villainous character who very clearly shoulders a ton of blame for everything.
Sometimes a character who couldn't in any conventional way be called a Bad Guy is nevertheless responsible for everything getting as positively FUBAR as it does.
And so, as inspired by this recent Reddit thread on the very subject, it's absolutely true in these 10 movies, for sure.
These characters, from seemingly innocent children to the most apparently innocuous random characters, all ended up doing something that doomed a large swath of people.
Perhaps they unknowingly instigated a zombie plague, caused untold millions in city-wide damage, or inadvertently birthed a villain who went on to do despicable things.
Now, none of these characters had ill intent - quite the opposite for the most part, in fact - but they're also a testament to how poor planning and general carelessness can lead to pure catastrophe.
These characters largely weren't raked over the coals for what they did, though as a viewer, it's tough not to lay the blame squarely at their feet...
10. Tammy & Andy - 28 Weeks Later

28 Weeks Later revolves around Don's (Robert Carlyle) children Tammy (Imogen Poots) and Andy (Mackintosh Muggleton), who decide to sneak out of the UK's fortified safe zone District One and return to their family home in order to retrieve a picture of their presumed-dead mother, Alice (Catherine McCormack).
Even accepting that the pair miss their mum and desperately want to find a picture before they forget what she looks like, it's a risky move at best, and an outright stupid one at worst in the midst of an undead apocalypse.
And indeed, once the siblings make it home they discover Alice, who is alive but an infected, asymptomatic carrier of the Rage Virus.
The trio are soon enough scooped up by the U.S. Army and brought back to District One, after which Don becomes infected by Alice by kissing her, causing the Rage Virus to quickly spread through the safe zone.
Basically, Tammy and Andy's decision to sneak out rather than stay put in safety ends up costing untold numbers of lives. What a mess.
