In 2014 and 2015, X-Men: Days of Future Past and Avengers: Age of Ultron confused audiences everywhere by introducing parallel versions of the same character, Quicksilver. The X-Men's version, Peter Maximoff, was played by Evan Peters, who would reprise the role in X-Men: Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix. The Avengers' version, called Pietro like his comic counterpart, was played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson and appeared in a major role in the film before his death in the climax.

Before Taylor-Johnson got his ass kicked by Ultron, he portrayed another comic book character, the title character of 2010's Kick-Ass. Kick-Ass's friend Todd is played by Peters, meaning that the film had two different Quicksilver actors.

Even though it's true, don't tell confused fans that Quicksilver is "the guy from Kick-Ass." It's not helpful.
