10 Movie Guys You Wouldn't Take Home To Meet Your Parents

1. Toxie - The Toxic Avenger

The film that basically created Troma, The Toxic Avenger follows Melvin, a 98 pound weakling janitor in a health spa who is constantly persecuted by a bunch of bullies. After tricking Melvin into thinking a girl is interested in him, their prank goes horribly wrong and Melvin falls out of the window into a vat of noxious chemicals. He is transformed into the hideously disfigured superhero Toxic Avenger. Despite his repulsive appearance, he actually has a girlfriend named Sara (played by Andree Maranda) who is blind (naturally) and loves Toxie for who he is. It's nice to see that somebody even as grotesque as this can still find true love. Although, would her family understand such a relationship? Imagine being out on a date with Toxie, the two of you sharing a romantic dinner at Olive Garden. But again, this film just proves that you can find love in the most unlikeliest of places. The pair share a makeshift junkyard domicile, and seem to really enjoy each other's company. Just don't expect a women who actually has full use of her vision to feel the same way.
